Bright colors and mystical creatures fill the Glass House Conservatory at Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial – just in time for spring. Scheduled to open on Friday, March 26, the new enchanted garden show will be sure to delight guests of all ages.
“The Magic of Spring” features over 200 plant species including Cherry, Lime, Lemon and Grapefruit Trees, Norfolk Island Pines, ferns, pothos, philodendrons, daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, pansies and ranunculus.
With hand-made fairy houses made of recycled materials and sensory engaging displays, there is plenty for children to discover. While engaging their imaginations, fairies will also teach children what it means to be environmental stewards and why it’s important to take care of nature.
The magic continues outside of the Conservatory. All visitors will receive a brochure with their ticket that will lead them to fairy garden stakes hidden throughout the park.
